Beautiful Ingrid Pitt, beloved by horror fans for her roles in Hammer's The Vampire Lovers and Countess Dracula, as well as Amicus' The House That Dripped Blood, has died at age 73. She also had a small role in one of my favourite films of all time, The Wicker Man...
The Queen is dead, Long live the Queen!
Yeah it's a real shame. And even though she wasn't so very active lately, she still appeared att conventions and stuff, and there's quite a few movies that could have done with her wonderfull recollections of movie making on them.
