Torso are an unrelentingly searing shred-machine from California, and they're invading Australia next week to lay waste to your oh-so-fragile senses. Feminist SXE hardcore of the highest order, Torso deliver meaty, no frills d-beat mayhem, led by throaty female vocals and underpinned by smart, concise lyrics. Dig that Alex Heir artwork too.
Sydney gets two shows, at Blackwire and The Red Rattler, but for my money the latter is the one to hit up. The lineup that night includes Tanned Christ, Thorax and Canine, and that's most of Sydney's finest right there in one place.
Should be a sick night, and a tasty appetiser before Mob 47 next month!
